Who is supporting the csr headset drivers on windows update for the microsoft stack?
I see many people complaining about these drivers, including myself. I lose a2dp connectivity everytime on standby.
It seems microsoft refers to headset manufacturers.
It seems headset manufacturers refer to the dongle makers.
It seems the dongle makers are all shipping their own stacks, which could be toshiba, widcomm, bluesoleil, etc.
The headset manufacturers have no idea which stack to support. Most of the time users seem to have non-microsoft stacks. This situation is not very condusive for them to support microsoft csr drivers for the microsoft stack.
I doubt these drivers are going to improve much, now CSR is promoting it's own proprietary driver, CSR Harmony.
In the end there are no bluetooth headsets which are windows 7 certified. The plantronics one supposedly don't require software, which is false.
IT'S A BIG MESS

I think microsoft needs to take responsibility here, and provide drivers and support headset drivers, instead of yelling 'is it on the compatibility list' each time, when none actually exist.
